Benefits @ Work Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Beverly and Willie Owens (pictured fourth and fifth from the left on front row), owners of Benefits @ Work, moved into Suite #415 at the Franklin Business Incubator on July 1, 2015. They were one of the three new businesses to take advantage of the program’s 10‐year anniversary special. This business offers supplemental health benefits for catastrophic events – such as accidents, cancer, heart attacks, strokes, etc. – as well as life insurance policies. Their target market is middle‐income Americans. They feel that their competitive advantage is that they feature a premium return option that returns 100% of the premium back to the policyholder if they never file a claim over a 20‐year period. The Owens look forward to growing their market geographically from Richmond, to Norfolk, and into northern North Carolina, making Franklin a great central location for their office. You may contact them by phone at 804‐909‐2925, or by e‐mail at bevowens0828@gmail.com. Their website is www.washingtonmutual.com.
